A few changes have been made under the hood of the 2017 Jeep Wrangler. A 7- or 8-speed automatic transmission will replace the 5-speed which will give it more torque and better fuel economy. Although rumors indicated a change in the motor, the same 3.6 liter Pentastar V6 from Chrysler is the only option. However, it boasts 290-hp, which is more than previous models.

The interior of the 2017 Jeep Wrangler has been refined to offer several options that weren't available on some previous models. A USB port, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and height-adjustable driver's seat are options that may be added to the purchase of a new Wrangler.

Many of the trim upgrades found on previous years' Wrangler models may just become standard on the 2017 model. Bluetooth connectivity and rearview camera may be standard, and other options such as leather and heated seats, upgraded audio, and in-dash navigation will be options. Some items most people take for granted on other vehicles, such as power locks & windows as well as remote keyless entry, may also remain as options.

Jeeps have always been designed with safety in mind. The Wrangler boasts large bumpers, functional fog and LED lights, and interior roll bars to keep passengers safe. Standard safety features include driver and passenger airbags, ABS, electronic traction control, and stability control. The Jeep Wrangler has earned a four out of five star safety rating.

Whether you are interested in an automobile that will take you across town to work or off road to adventure, the 2017 Jeep Wrangler is perfect for the job. With a new, upgraded chassis and suspension as well as a slightly modified engine, owners will notice a smoother ride with better gas mileage on city streets and highways. For those who have longed for comfort items such as Bluetooth connectivity and in-dash navigation, those will be offered as well. There really are no other off-road SUV's like the Jeep Wrangler, so if you are looking for quality, comfort, and reliability, head to your local Jeep dealership and take one for a drive.
