Throughout the many leading contenders in the full-size truck market, there are significant differences in all-around performance and style that you should understand before picking out the exact truck that you want to commit to for the next few years or longer. The 2020 RAM 1500 and the 2020 Chevy Silverado compete head-to-head for your attention with a seemingly comparable appeal. However, one truck model has the superior features and abilities that you are searching for.

The 2020 Silverado and the RAM 1500 have branded design elements across their exterior, and they have a few standout features. Both trucks are available with several truck bed sizes, towing equipment, skid plates, and a power tailgate. The RAM 1500 has a bold style with a powerful scoop over the hood, and many trim levels have foglamps, all-terrain tires, and chrome accents. The Chevy Silverado's exterior has a smooth, less defined character. Some of the same features that are on the RAM 1500 are on select Silverado trim levels.

You will be able to choose between several cabin configurations, color options, and materials for the interior of either truck model that you select. The interior of the RAM 1500 is clearly advanced with a tablet-sized display screen, reclining seats in the second row, a flip-fold function for the rear seats, a multi-angle rear camera, smart device integration, a navigation system, and other equipment. The Silverado has a few of these features in higher trim levels.

Both truck models are available with several powertrains, but only the RAM 1500 comes with the astonishing HEMI power. The 2020 RAM 1500 is available with a 3.6-liter, V6, 305-horsepower engine and two different V8 Hemi engines that give you 395 horsepower. A V6, 260-horsepower turbo engine that runs on diesel is also an option in the RAM 1500. The Silverado for 2020, however, comes with a V6, 285 horsepower engine, and a 5.3-liter, V8, 355-horsepower engine. A few other engine designs are also offered.
