This business is absolute dumpster juice. Spent more money in fuel driving my car back and forth on the same issue than it was ever worth...to only never get it fixed. Had to take Jeep Manufacturer to court for breach of warranty. Gary Williams in the service department and mechanic Carter are great! In June 2023 my 2012 RAM 1500 5.7L hemi engine started running rough and developed the hemi engine camshaft/lifter tick. Prior to taking my truck to Lake Keowee Dodge, I was already 99% sure my engine had a camshaft/lifter failure, and Carter’s tests confirmed the need for camshaft and lifter replacement. Camshaft/lifter replacement requires a significant amount engine tear down and reassembly, and I was a bit apprehensive about trusting my vehicle to Keowee Dodge. Never in my life have I been treated so rudely. Had my vehicle here for service and in less than 700 miles the parts were installed incorrectly and it failed. They claim to be under warranty. They would not back their work to the point the owner blamed me for their negligence, unbelievable. If there was a 0 star that would be the rating on this service dept. Again if you take your vehicle you’re an idiot. Just trying to help you boss, don’t go here.

I purchased my third Chrysler and Kernsersvill Chrisler Kernersville NC. Lake Keowee doesn't want to help a customer who relocated here. 26,000 miles 2 year old truck they won't do warranty work on my 3500 Ram. We wouldn't recommend this dealership for service or sales. Our experience was primarily in service however we had a terrible experience when speaking with two seperate sales managers after asking for the owner. Both managers said they would ask the owner to call us - to this day we never received a call. This dealership does not keep their word on work performed and price quoted. I have a 2019 Ram 1500 Limited 4WD. I was hearing a vibration when making right turns. I did a LOT of research on this issue online. The solution was Service Bulletin 08-137-21. It requires the Electric Power Steering Module (EPS) to be flashed with a software update. I provided all of my research to the service dept. They followed my research and flashed the EPS. Sometimes it helps to research the issues with your vehicle first. Not sure the dealer knew about this issue, but it just makes it faster to assist with the diagnosis. Absolutely love their service dept.

Trey in finance said he was GIVING me a Mopar service deal and GIVING me a tire and wheel protection plan. I found later he charged me $1125 for the service plan and $800 for the tire plan. Purchased a new 2021 challenger from Mr. Mark West. The entire process was very smooth and transparent. Exactly what a car buying experience should be. There was a small cosmetic issue with the car when purchased that was taken care of quickly and efficiently. I bought a 2016 xxxx cat with 10k miles on it with a clean car fax went to trade it in 5 months later and it shows a accident 2 months before I purchased the car I went back to the owner of the dealership and he said it was minor so it wasent a big deal. Extremely disappointing. Treated me as if I were stupid. Said it just needed a tuneup. Didnt check what I asked them to. Turns out it was what I asked them to check. They refused to call insurance, saying they wouldn't cover it but wanted to charge me 529 dollars. I had to go to the Dealership in Anderson to get it diagnosed correctly. Cost me time and money. I still haven’t received my estimate. Couldn’t get ahold of service. Coverage issues. As always the dealer lied to make a sale. This list goes on, I’m very unhappy with service and with sales. This place is not military friendly or friendly in general I wish I had believed the bad reviews that were posted and took the warnings seriously. Spending my time and money at this dealership will be the worst mistake I have ever made for the nxt 5 years.

My only complaint is that if I need services done beyond just an oil change or tire rotation, I go elsewhere due to price. Also, in an unrelated matter: I'd prefer to be in a waiting room that doesn't have employees passing through every minute. It seems like there could be a separate corridor for employees only (to go between the Sales and Service departments).

Keowee fixed the transmission after a lot of grief, not all of which was their fault. Curbside exhaust manifold is broken. First identified with 4,000 miles left in the warranty. Their proposal was to drill and tap the manifold and install a strap across the crack for $250. I know 5.7 HEMIs are prone to exhaust manifold breakage and if left long enough take out the aluminum heads. The correct fix is to install stainless steel headers as they can cope with the expansion and contraction issues. An alternative would be to wake up the folks in Chrysler PowerTrain and develop a real ...

Went in for oil change and taking care of factory recalls. They said it would take an hour to an hour and a half. After two hours the the oil change was completed, but the recall item was not. When the service advisor asked the mechanic why it wasn't done, he didn't have an answer. It just means I have to make an extra trip to get it done.

Waited 3 months for them to get and replace my transmission and I HAD TO RENT AND PAY FOR MY RENTAL CAR FINALLY TOWARDS THE END they started to pay but hasn’t reimbursed me my rental money or my tow bill!! I would stay far away from this dealership mainly the service department. They aren't honest at all. I had rotors and brakes put on my car in 2019. After they put them on I kept having trouble with my car shaking when applying the brakes. When that happens normally it's the rotors.
